| |
| High Carbon Steel wire rods are first pickled in acid to remove the oxide scale to obtain a clean surface suitable for drawing. |
| The diameter of the pickled rods is reduced by pulling them through a series of dies to the intermediate size. Heat treatment is done for drawing to small diameters of WIRES. Galvanising facilities are also available. |
| A pre determined number of WIRES are then stranded to form STRANDS. A designated number of strands are CLOSED to make ROPES. |
